Recognizing Marketing Excellence in the Animal Health Care Industry

You are going to be asked to provide the following information for your entry. If you represent an agency, we ask that you notify the company in which you are submitting a project that you worked on so that there are no surprises. Be sure to check the spelling, as this information is then used for awards, awards certificates, award announcements, website pages, etc. Here is a list of the information that is collected:

  • Entry Name
  • Company Name
  • Agency Name
  • Product Name
  • Country and location of where the project was published/aired
  • Contact person’s name and job title
  • Contact person’s company name and address
  • Contact person’s phone number and email address
  • The team members who worked on the project. (Don’t leave anyone out! We want to make sure that everyone who was part of the project is recognized.)

In addition to this, you will also need the entry itself. There is a limit of 200 mb per file, and we allow up to 10 files per entry. Your entry can be a website link or file(s) in the following formats:

Documents: .csv, .doc, .docx, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx
Images: .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff
Graphics: .ai, .eps
Audio Files: .m4a, .mp3, .wav
Video Files: .m4v, .mov, .mp4
Archive Files: .zip

Finally, we ask that you provide a brief entry note that lets us know where and when the project was published.

The visual aspects of your entries are crucial. This is why it is important to upload an image, video, pdf or link to visuals for the project. We do not require any long summaries or explanatory essays. This is not a results-based competition. Our judges are asked to make decisions based on the following:

  • Strength of concept
  • Visual appeal
  • Message persuasiveness
  • Relevance to the intended audience
  • Overall creativity

Entries are never judged against other entries. Rather, each entry is judged on its own merit.

There is no time limit for the length of video entries.

We have seen this accomplished using several methods. Some create a multi-page PDF (a single file) with various images that showcase the different campaign strategies. Some upload individual images (.pdfs, .pngs, or .jpgs) with their entries (limited to 10). Others have provided a link to a site that includes several images or videos related to the campaign. The choice is yours.

If your entry falls within the required timeframe, you are permitted to re-submit for consideration during this year’s awards program. We require that entries are published sometime between November 1 through October 31.

In short, yes. We want to be able to recognize anyone who contributed. If your project wins a gold or silver, a web page is dedicated to the project on in which we showcase your winning entry and list all of the contributors. If you win a Grand Prize, we want to recognize your contributors by listing them on a slide projected on a screen behind you as you walk across the stage to get your trophy. Be sure not to leave anyone out in your application.

You can make changes to your submission all the way up until the final deadline. After that, send an email to [email protected] so that our staff can make the adjustment.

Should you need to leave the entry process before finishing, you will not lose any work that you’ve entered so far for your entry. Simply log out and log back in again when you are ready to finish.

You may make edits to your submission(s) after payment and up to the final deadline.

The good news is that you can submit your entry and pay for Early Bird pricing and still make changes to your entry up until the final deadline.

We prefer that you submit high-resolution images over low-resolution images. This is because we produce a video that showcases each of the award winners and we want to display your entry properly. However, to be more specific, we have a maximum file size of 200 mb.

We require at least one supporting attachment or link to see your entry. You are allowed up to a maximum of 10 attachments/links for each entry.

The good news is that you may enter as many entries as you like! There is no limit to the amount of amazing work that you can submit for award. The more you enter, the more you’ll increase your chances of being selected as the top dog!

We require that entries are published sometime between 12:01 a.m. ET on November 1 through 11:59 p.m. ET on October 31.

A single entry can be entered into as many relevant categories as you would like! So, if you think your entry is the cat’s meow – be sure to enter it several different ways within relevant categories!
